Counsel Abroad
Commercial and intellectual property matters frequently involve several jurisdictions at once — a target company incorporated in one, a patent family filed across a dozen, an award to be enforced where the assets happen to sit.
Where local admission or local knowledge is required, the firm instructs and coordinates trusted counsel in that jurisdiction. The client's relationship stays with JIP Law. We remain responsible for strategy, for keeping parallel workstreams consistent, and for the single view of the matter the client needs in order to make decisions.
